Rab from the Cathedral Bell Tower
A view from the Cathedral bell tower reveals Rab's compact historic core, red roofs, church towers, harbour and sea.
The historic core of the town of Rab occupies a narrow peninsula bounded by old walls. At street level, visitors meet individual lanes, squares and towers; from the Cathedral bell tower, their relationship becomes legible as a whole.
stitched panorama from the cathedral bell tower · not an interactive 360
The new series was photographed from the bell-tower top in evening light. Red roofs, church towers, harbour and the sea that nearly surrounds the historic core appear together. Individual towers are left unnamed when a silhouette alone does not make the identification certain.
The widest frame is a stitched panoramic photograph measuring 9256 × 3918 pixels. It joins neighbouring captures into one broad view; it is not an interactive or equirectangular 360 image. The other photographs in the set are ordinary wide frames made in different directions.
The elevated view shows how compact the core is: roofs run toward the harbour, Komrčar Forest Park forms a green edge, and the town continues toward the mainland. It is a more useful way to read Rab than turning every distant detail into a separate landmark claim.
For the green continuation of the story, open the guide to Komrčar Forest Park. Selected frames from both series also appear in the Rab editorial photo collection.
