Honest about what happens with your data.
RabInsider is an independent Rab Island discovery and business visibility platform. This page explains what is collected, why, and who to contact.
Who runs RabInsider
The data controller is Hojski Design, a sole proprietorship owned by Ivan Hojski, Rab, Croatia. For privacy requests, corrections, or deletion, contact: hojskiivan.1@gmail.com. Business ID details are available on request.
What is collected through forms
In this release, only the photo-walk inquiry form is public. RabInsider stores the details you enter: name, email, optional phone or WhatsApp, preferred date, group size and message. The record also includes the page language, the page address from which the inquiry was sent and basic browser information needed for security and a reply.
Why the data is processed
The data is used to handle and reply to the inquiry, check a requested date and protect the form from basic abuse. It is not used for advertising profiles or forwarded automatically to businesses in the guide.
Legal basis
Depending on the context, processing is based on steps you request before an agreement, performance of an agreed service, legitimate interest in keeping RabInsider accurate and secure, legal obligations, and consent where consent is clearly requested. Withdrawing consent does not affect earlier lawful processing.
Tools and service providers
The site uses Vercel for hosting and Vercel Web Analytics, Google Analytics only after optional analytics consent when configured, Supabase to store public inquiries, Resend for email notifications, and Mapbox with OpenStreetMap data for maps.
Cookies, analytics, and maps
RabInsider uses lightweight analytics to understand visits and technical site health. There are no Facebook pixels, no Google AdSense, and no advertising trackers. When you open a map, map providers may receive the technical data needed to display that map.
Business profiles and owner photos
RabInsider may show basic publicly available information about island businesses. In this release, profile claims, public correction or photo submissions, paid placements, Shop and PrintWalk are closed and their forms are unavailable.
How long data is kept
Inquiries are kept for as long as reasonably needed to answer, continue the conversation, document an agreement, or meet legal obligations.
Your rights
You can request access, correction, deletion, restriction, data portability where applicable, object to processing, or withdraw consent. Send the request to the email above. If you believe your rights were violated, you can contact AZOP, the Croatian Personal Data Protection Agency.
Attributions and data sources
Authors of licensed photos, where used, are credited on the listings or pages where the photos appear. The map relies on OpenStreetMap data and Mapbox rendering. If you notice a wrong attribution or inaccurate detail, send a note and it will be corrected.
Policy changes
If data handling changes, this page will be updated. For larger changes that materially affect profile owners or form users, RabInsider will provide a clearer notice on the site or by email where appropriate.
