Pudarica Beach
A pebble beach right by the ferry road, with blue parasols and a view across to Dolfin. Shallow water and easy access make it a no-fuss spot for the whole day.

Sahara Beach
Lopar's sand dunes and the quietest large beach on the island. Reachable via a 15-minute walk through the pines.

Suha Punta Beach
A groomed sandy cove lined with loungers and a jetty, pine-shaded along its edge — the easy-access face of Suha Punta.

Dundo Forest Beach
Secluded coves inside the protected Dundo forest park. Accessible only on foot or by boat.

A rocky plateau on the Frkanj peninsula, surrounded by pine trees. Walk 10 minutes from Kandarola.

Stolac Beach
A naturist beach on the north of Lopar, known for its small rockpools left by the tide. Best for sun and silence.

A quiet cove with turquoise water — walk in through the shade of the forest trail.

A sandy beach near Kampor with shallow, clear water and a view of the village across the bay. Wide and calm — ideal for families.
When the wind changes, the beach choice changes.
The most familiar beach is not always the right beach for the day. Bura, jugo, and maestral change the sea, the approach, and the feeling on shore.
Bura usually points the plan toward Rab's south and west sides: Barbat, Banjol, Kampor, and sheltered rocks around Suha Punta.

Jugo comes from the south and southeast and can build waves on the south coast; Lopar, Palit, Rab, and sheltered northern bays often work better.
Pudarica Beach · Suha Punta Beach
Maestral is a north-west afternoon breeze, often pleasant, but calmer swimming is easier in coves with natural NW shelter.
